Isn’t it time to admit that the Parklet concept, proposed by Palisades PRIDE for the space in front of Palisades Garden Cafe, was actually a good idea? They were just a few years “ahead of their time.” The community shot down the idea because we couldn’t bear to lose one parking space. I just wanted to share with readers that I signed up to do the Up to the Plate cooking course with our local guest writer, Ruth Laurent-Kocher, and it was fabulous. I love to cook and she gave me great ideas to get reinvigorated and organized.

Speeding
If you drive too fast on San Vicente Blvd, it is highly likely that you will get a speeding ticket. If you drive too fast on PCH, it is highly likely you won’t. San Vicente is regularly monitored for speeding. It seems that PCH is not.

Daylight Saving Time
It is so outdated and just plain scientifically wrong for your body. Congress should fix it.
