The SPIRAL (Spinning Potential into Resolve and Love) Foundation is hosting its 30-percent-off spring sale of Nepalese and Vietnamese handmade textiles and jewelry this weekend, April 9-10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the home of Marichia and James Simcik, 211 Vance St. in Pacific Palisades. Many of the eco-friendly items are fabricated from discarded materials, such as potato chip and rice bags, tires, tin cans and plastic water bottles.
