  Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’ (1956), starring James Stewart and Doris Day, will be screened at 1 p.m. in the Palisades Branch Library community room, 861 Alma Real. Admission is free. The song ‘Que Sera, Sera,’ sung by Doris Day, debuted in this film.

  Annual Chamber of Commerce Village Fair, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the streets of Antioch, south Swarthmore and Via de la Paz.

  The Palisades Symphony, under the direction of Joel Lish, will perform a varied program at 7:30 p.m. at the Palisades Lutheran Church, 15905 Sunset (corner of El Medio). Free admission. The concert will open with the Celebration Overture by Norman Ludwin, followed by Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso by Camille Saint-Saens, featuring violin soloist Alexis Hatch.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 22

  The Pacific Palisades Civic League board holds its monthly review meeting, 7:30 p.m. in Tauxe Hall at the Methodist Church, 801 Via de la Paz. The public is invited.
