A lost hiker was found and then rescued by a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter tonight. The hiker, who was uninjured, was hoisted into the helicopter and flown to the Palisades High School baseball field, according to the LAFD. The incident was reported at about 7 p.m. and the airship landed near Palihi at about 8 p.m., said witnesses.
