Battery
Lachman/Tellem – At 6:45 p.m. July 4, Los Angeles police say a suspect inside a black Acura threw a plastic bottle, striking a pedestrian’s arm as the vehicle drove south on Lachman Lane.
DUI
PCH/Entrada – A 33-year-old man was arrested at 1 a.m. July 4 and charged with DUI after being observed driving dangerously by an off-duty police officer.
Drug paraphernalia possession
Entrada/PCH – At 9:50 a.m. June 30, a 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia during a loitering investigation on at Will Rogers State Beach.
Vehicle burglary
Temescal Canyon/Sunset – Between 5 and 6 p.m. June 30, a suspect smashed the window of a vehicle and took a cell phone and a purse.
Vandalism
- 1300 block of Goucher – Between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. June 28, a suspect smashed a flower pot and damaged a statue on the homeowner’s front porch.
- 16000 block of Pacific Coast Highway – Between 9:45 a.m. and 6 p.m July 1, a suspect scratched the paint on a vehicle.
Petty theft
16000 block of Sunset – Between 7 a.m. June 7 and 11 p.m. June 10, a suspect took a guitar during a gathering of family and friends.
