Assault with a deadly weapon
- Temescal Canyon/Sunset – At 7:45 a.m. July 17 a suspect struck someone with a metal pipe during an argument. Police describe the suspect as a white man, no further description.
- 16600 block of Calle Jermaine – At 12:25 a.m. July 20 a suspect struck someone in the head with a glass bottle during a graduation party.
DUI
800 block of Bienveneda – A 22-year-old man was arrested at 4:40 a.m. July 19 for DUI during a traffic collision with a fire hydrant.
Burglary/theft from motor vehicle
14800 block of Pacific Coast Highway – Between 8:30 and 10 p.m. July 19, a suspect smashed the window of a vehicle and took a hiking pack and hair dryer.
