The Palisades High girls golf team finished second with a nine-hole total of 252, six shots behind first-place Venice, in Thursday’s first City 3 League match at Penmar Golf Course.
Melanie Matayoshi carded a 12-over par 46 and Izzy Simmons shot a 49 to lead the Golfin’ Dolphins, who were 47 strokes in front of third-place LACES.
Camila Paleno (50), Alegra Gurian (53), Maury Marin (54) and Abby Brown (56) rounded out the scoring for Palisades.
Caitlin Sasemori of Venice shot a 5-over par 39 to earn medalist honors.
