Richard Greene, long-time past resident, has passed away at age 83.
Richard had significant health challenges for the past eight years and is now at peace. His family wants to honor the good times because Dick absolutely loved living in the Palisades. He loved finding treats at Gelson’s and “really great” flashlights at the hardware store, coffee and croissants with his buddies, being part of the Optimists, running races, flirting with women of all ages, taking visiting land-locked grandkids to the beach, and riding a fire engine in a couple Fourth of July parades.
Richard’s wife, Nancy, passed away several years ago. If you’d like to share stories with the rest of the family, or get info about memorial, email SGreene285@gmail.com.
Feel free to celebrate Dick’s love of reading with a donation to your local library.
