The Palisadian-Post grabbed our first-ever “eye-in-the-sky” shot of Palisades Charter High School football on Aug. 31, capturing the brilliant greens and blues of the school’s brand new turf field.
This summer’s $1.5 million renovations to Stadium by the Sea were completed just in time for kickoff, and Pali High’s varsity squad broke in the new turf by soundly defeating Sylmar Charter High School, 48-7.
A new running track around the perimeter of the field is also nearing completion.
The school moved to replace the surfaces after they were deemed a safety risk by tests last year.
