Whoopi Goldberg, Emmy, Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-winning comedian, actor and talk show host, has listed her Riviera home for $8.795 million.
The Amalfi Drive house, which was built in 1933, retains period features, including a marble checkerboard-pattern foyer floor, crown moldings, fireplaces and an onyx-clad master bathroom.
On a half-acre lot with 7,039 square feet of living space, the six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom house has living, dining and family rooms and a library. Outside, an irregularly shaped swimming pool is surrounded by flagstone.
The gated property is enclosed by “mature trees and lush landscaping,” the listing boasts.
The home, designed for grand-scale entertaining, was previously owned by David Niven, who died in 1983 at the age of 73. The Oscar-winning actor had roles in “Separate Tables,” “The Pink Panther” and “Around the World in 80 Days.”
The property was last sold in 1993 for $2.55 million, public records show.
David Mossler of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent.
