On the heels of celebrating its one-year anniversary, Palisades Village has revealed the latest tenant to join the space will be Edie Parker, which will operate a pop-up stand through November 30.
A modern accessories label with an “inherent sense of irreverence and a deep respect for craft,” the pieces in the collection are produced in America and Italy.
“We are selling items from our Edie Parker Flower line,” a brand representative explained. “There will be a range of products offered from each category of home, bags and giftables.”
“Giftables,” exclusive to Edie Parker, include bag charms, key chains, swizzle sticks, incense holders and more.
The Flower line includes glass pipes and rolling papers in its online store, which will not be sold at Palisades Village. Instead the inventory will focus on “key chains, charms,” mini tote bags and “a couple of t-shirts.”
“The brand has disrupted the evening bag category with its bold use of color and material, impeccable quality and ever-present wit,” according to the Palisades
Village website.
Edie Parker, founded by New York City-based Brett Heyman, evolved out of a love of mid-century style, the brand’s website explains: “She is inspired by the post-war period of design innovation in America; both by the unexpected use of materials and the personal, artisanal way the product is manufactured.”
The brand was first launched in 2012, conceived as a line of clutches that has since expanded to offer a range of bags in different sizes, materials and fabrications. Other products include jewelry and a home collection.
Edie Parker is now carried in more than 100 outlets across the world, including Moda Operandi, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Laverne Cox, nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in “Orange Is the New Black,” recently sported a rainbow Edie Parker clutch reading “Oct. 8,” “Title VII” and “Supreme Court” at the 2019 Emmy Awards.
