For the second year in a row, Chelsey Gipson has earned West Coast Conference honors.
After being voted to the All-WCC First Team as a sophomore last winter the Loyola Marymount guard was honorable mention this season, finishing conference play 10th in scoring and ninth in steals.
The Palisades High alum and 2016 Post Cup Award winner was first on the team and fourth in the WCC in points with 434 and added 83 assists last season and averaged 13.1 points with 60 assists and 43 steals in 25 games this year.
Gipson led Windward School to the Southern Section Open Division title as a freshman before transferring to Palisades as a sophomore and leading the Dolphins to back-to-back City Open Division titles in 2015-16. She averaged 24.4 points her senior year and was No. 2 in the nation in three-pointers with 147 and third in scoring among Division I players in California with 856 points.
