Neighbors recently gathered to celebrate the annual Scoop on the Loop Halloween-time ice cream social.
Jessica Ambats recently took Palisades Brownie Troop 2955 to Santa Monica Airport to earn their Fling Flyer Design Challenge badge. “They learned about the forces of flight, and built and tested their own paper airplanes,” Ambats explained. “We visited the observation deck overlooking the runway, Angel Flight West and a hangar at Up Partners.” The troop is led by Alison Crosman and Olga Amarillas.
Lisette Kremer, who has been organizing a pickleball birthday potluck, recently hosted a celebration for six people born in August, September and October.
