100 Years
I loved reading about the 100-year-old time capsule at Rustic. I had been eagerly waiting to see what was hidden when I first saw notices about the event. What a fun thing to be a part of.
Loquats
I learned something new about loquats in the last edition of the paper. I didn’t realize they were so versatile in terms of what dishes they could be featured in. Thanks, Sonja and Lisa, for putting the Green Tip together.
Father’s Day
Loved the Father’s Day suggestions! I never realized how many local options we had. It was a nice reminder that we don’t have to stray too far, we have tons right in town!
Beaches
Santa Monica was packed beyond belief for Father’s Day. I always wondered if it was because it’s a first stop? If people drive just a bit further, they’ll find some beautiful beaches with a lot less of a crowd.
4th of July
I can’t believe Fourth of July festivities are around the corner. It feels like the last one was just yesterday. Any idea what we can expect this time around?
