The ceremony was held on the golf course under the big Oak Tree just before sunset. The bride’s brothers, Brian and Kevin, walked the bride’s mother, Debbie, down the aisle followed by bride’s goddaughter bearing the rings in a sparkling white crystal geode. The bride’s father, Richard, escorted Amber, to the Bridal March by Vicente Avella. She moved gracefully in her custom gown fashioned of Italian and French lace. She carried a bouquet of white orchids wrapped in her grandmother’s “old” handkerchief and secured by her great grandmother’s “borrowed” broach. She wore “blue” on the bottom of her shoes saying “I do”. Joe wore a midnight blue Ralph Lauren Black Label Tuxedo. Their rings were blessed by the 36 guests during a musical interlude of Clair de Lune. During the ceremony Rick Dees read an excerpt from Dante’s Divine Comedy. After the newlyweds kissed, as husband and wife for the first time, they processed to an instrumental of All You Need Is Love by the Beatles.
