
Abigail Schleichkorn, 15, represented the L.A. Westside delegation at the 2015 Maccabi Games in Dallas, TX and won the Girls 16U Competitive Tennis Division gold medal.
The Maccabi Games are an Olympic-style sporting competition, with over 6,000 Jewish teens ranging in from 13 to 16 years in age participating each summer.
Schleichkorn lives in the Alphabet Streets and is entering her junior year at Palisades High, where she plays varsity singles for the Dolphins.
Schleichkorn did not drop a set in seven matches, defeating players from Israel, Boston, Los Angeles and Dallas. After a 6-4, 6-0 semifinal win she swept Erin Blotcky of Dallas, 6-3, 6-0, in the finals.
