On Wednesday, April 13 a car flipped over on Sunset Blvd. at Amalfi Dr. in the Riviera and many residents heard rumors that a motorcycle had caused the accident, according to LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore. To clear up the matter, Moore told the Palisadian-Post he reached out to LAPD West Traffic Division and received the following information regarding the accident:
“There was an overturned vehicle on Sunset Blvd/Amalfi on Wednesday night (04-13-16). The T-unit’s investigation revealed that there was NO MOTORCYCLE involved with the traffic collision. The driver apparently fell asleep and was involved in a single vehicle collision (Roll Over).”
In addition, no one was transported to the hospital.
