Remaining Palisades Village Tenants Eye 2019 Openings

With few spaces left to fill in the development, remaining confirmed Palisades Village tenants will wait until 2019 to open their doors to Palisadians.
“We don’t yet have exact dates, but Tocaya Organica, Brunello Cucinelli, City National Bank—as well as Veronica Beard and Faherty—are all slated to open in the first half of next year,” a representative from Caruso shared with the Palisadian-Post.
Faherty, a clothing store with items for men, women and children launched by twin brothers Alex and Mike Faherty, shared some details of the forthcoming Palisades store.
“Interior designers Ryan Lawson and Ninie Norris (founders Mike and Alex Faherty’s mom) are teaming up once more to furnish Faherty’s new 1,336-square-foot Palisades outpost,” a press release reported. “The store’s interior will carry through the white brick that is seen throughout the exterior of the old-fashioned village, white oak floors covered with layered Swedish rungs, pagoda beam slats and the brand’s iconic straw-thatched hut above the cash register.”
The Palisades Village shop will be the eighth retail location for the brand and the second brick-and-mortar storefront in the Los Angeles area—following the first West Coast store, which opened in Malibu in 2016.
The latest location will “borrow aesthetic cues from the other seven Faherty stores, including vintage surfboards, layered textiles, and a selection of unexpected objects and art collected from worldly travels.”
Faherty will also bring along a newly launched content series, Sun Sessions, to the Palisades as part of its in-store programming.
“Grounded in creativity, community and connection, Sun Sessions are invite-only experiences with prominent musicians that include guided meditations and inspiring conversations around Faherty company values like sustainability, mindfulness and community,” the press release stated. “Faherty is excited to bring the popular programming to their new store and tap the community-minded Palisades neighborhood for inspirational guests.”
The store is slated to open in mid-February of 2019 at 15225 Palisades Village Lane—located in between St. Frank and Chanel Beauté.
