“There’s a kid at school who I notice gets bullied a lot. What can I do?” -Lewis S.
LEO PESCE, 7
You can tell the bully to stop. If he doesn’t stop, you can tell a grown-up. Before you tell a teacher or adult, you should try to tell the bully to stop.
TÉA KOUDSI, 9
If I were you, I would stand up for that kid. I would say, “Don’t be a bully!” or “How would you like it if someone bullied you?” The bully will most likely stop bullying and if he/she keeps on bullying, tell a teacher, parent or principal.
MORGAN SINGER, 15
No matter how scary or intimidating the bully may seem, [bullies] are really just insecure people who pick on others to make themselves feel better. Everyone who witnesses bullying should stand up for the victim. There are only two people who can stop bullying: the person who is being bullied goes and tells someone or the person who stands up to the bully. Always try to be the person who stands up to the bully because someday if someone is mean to you, you would want someone to do the same for you.
PAYTON STEIN, 10
I would go to the bully and say, “Stop,” or “Quit it.” If he/she does not stop, I would go to a teacher and tell her/him what is happening. If it continues to happen I would go to the principal and tell him/her. I would help the kid who’s getting bullied for sure. It is very easy to be nice.
