Courtney, a sophomore forward/midfielder on the women’s soccer team at Princeton University, was named Player of the Week in the Ivy League after scoring two goals in last Thursday’s 2-0 victory over Rider and two more in Sunday’s 3-1 win against New Hampshire. The Tigers are 6-0-0 and ranked No. 16 in the nation heading into Friday’s game against No. 3 West Virginia. The all-time leading scorer at Harvard-Westlake High, Courtney grew up in Pacific View Estates and played club for Real So Cal, leading the Southland in scoring.
