MAX PALEES
A 6-foot-1, 195-pound freshman outside linebacker on the Santa Monica College football team, Max made a team-best 11 tackles in the Corsairs’ 43-22 home loss to Pasadena City last Saturday. in his first three games, he has recorded 23 tackles (nine solo, 14 assisted) with one quarterback sack. Max was a team captain his senior season at Palisades High and is the only Dolphin to earn All-City honors three times at three different positions. As a sophomore he was a Division I second teamer at linebacker. As a junior he made the Open Division first team at running back after rushing 175 times for 1,176 yards and nine touchdowns. As a senior, he made the Open Division second team at wide receiver after a team-high 50 catches for 533 yards and a team-leading 1,084 all-purpose yards.
