It all comes down to Thursday’s matches to decide the teams moving on. The 4:30 division is locked as Chai Rollers (6-0), Pali Pado Paisanos, The Bocce Boys (4-2), and Rolling Stones (3-3) are in the playoffs. Last Thursday, Ball Busters oinked Pompeii even with a valiant, strong effort by Greg Borgerson.
Pete Bartle was insanely great for Pali Dad Bods to keep them alive for a playoff spot with a huge win over Mission Imbocceball. PPBA Allstars took out The Big LeBocce.
Chai Rollers were too much for The Bocce Babes, with Ron Dunner’s Superman-level play, including a ‘kiss’ shot to seal the deal.
Lani Verge’s Holy Rollers couldn’t rock The Bocce Boys, with a gladiator performance by right-railer David Saloff. “Player of the Day” goes to Bocce Mi’s Len Labella for popping a tasty 5-Point Bay.
