“BOSTON: The Documentary,” a Palisadian produced and narrated film focusing on the legacy of the Boston Marathon, is scheduled to make its Los Angeles debut at the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills during the week of Sept. 22-28.
Starring Bostonian-turned-Palisadian actor Matt Damon as the film’s narrator, “Boston” is a historical telling of the world’s oldest marathon, chronicling from its genesis in 1897 until a year after the 2013 bombings.
Local producer Megan Williams told the Palisadian-Post that the film displays the “true soul of Boston” and showcases the event that has broken cultural ground throughout 13 decades.
