Witnesses report that both police and fire ambulance units are responding to the scene. Traffic is slow moving for a nearly 1.5 mile stretch of highway between Temescal Canyon Road and the California Incline. The incident was first reported at 1:49 p.m. Santa Monica Fire Department Chief Mark Bridges said that one person complained of minor pains. At the time of this report, Bridges was not aware of any lane closures.
