The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Los Angeles Area is asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect caught on video. (See video at http://www.lapdonline.org/home/news_view/59366)
On Aug. 24, 2015, a suspect entered a residence around the 1000 block of Las Pulgas Road in Pacific Palisades. The suspect entered the residence by prying off plywood from an entrance to the back of the residence.
The suspect stole a home entertainment system and clothes and may have left in a dark pick-up truck with chrome rims, which was caught on video surveillance camera.
The suspect was seen tampering with a camera using bolt cutters and walking away from the residence with the stolen items.
The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic with short crew cut hair style, between 30 and 40 years old, medium build and weight. He was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, light pants with a dark belt and dark/light shoes.
