Caruso has confirmed it is aiming to open the long-awaited Palisades Village project in August 2018. Until now it had been “summer” for a soft opening of the biggest building project in Pacific Palisades for many decades. Although the identities of tenants are still only being gradually and teasingly identified, with McConnell’s, the ice cream parlor from Santa Barbara, being the latest “reveal,” comments by Rick Caruso suggest there may be fewer retail outlets and more “experiences” than at previous developments. This will include the Cinépolis luxury theater, restaurants, and other gastronomic and entertainment opportunities. Our latest peek from the sky suggests that work on subterranean parking for 470 vehicles is nearing completion.
