Theatre Palisades presents “To Kill A Mockingbird,” 8 p.m. at the Pierson Playhouse on Haverford Avenue. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through October 13. For tickets ($20; seniors and students $18), call (310) 454-1970.
Palisades High School hosts the Pali Comedy Club’s premiere performance of “Friday Night Live,” 7 p.m. in Gilbert Hall. The 20-member cast will perform eight sketches. Admission is $5.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
As part of “What Ever Happened to Moby Dick?” month, the Palisades Branch Library will show the classic 1956 film starring Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab and Richard Baseheart as Ishmael, 1 p.m. in the community room, 861 Alma Real. Free admission.
An ocean puppet show and storytime for children age 3 and up, featuring “Moby Dick” stories, rhymes, songs, a craft and more, 4 p.m. in the Palisades Branch Library’s community room.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
Get in the Halloween spirit with “Glue & Go Costumes for Kids,” a presentation by author Holly Cleeland, 6:30 p.m. in the Palisades Branch Library. This free event for school children and grownups will include great ideas for costumes.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1
The Palisades High choral music department holds a Coffee House Concert, 7 p.m. in Mercer Hall on campus. There is a $5 suggested donation. The students will perform a diverse selection featuring soloists, duets, accompanists, ACaPali and the concert choir.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3
Meet City Councilman Mike Bonin at a community town hall meeting, 7:30 p.m. at Kehillat Israel, 16019 Sunset. He will discuss future plans for Pacific Palisades and the City of Los Angeles, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
