The following includes two weeks’ worth of reported incidents.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

17000 Pacific Coast Hwy, September 24 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Suspect unlocked secured vehicle, entered and removed victim’s property, and fled location.

17000 Pacific Coast Hwy, September 24 between 11:45 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. Suspect removed victim’s property from unsecured vehicle and fled location.

15800 Pacific Coast Hwy, September 24 between 10:20 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suspect entered secured vehicle, removed victim’s property and fled location.

200 Entrada Drive, between October 5 at 10:30 p.m. and October 6 at 2:45 p.m. License plate taken off of vehicle.

300 Entrada Drive, October 5 at 9 a.m. License plate taken off of vehicle.

Temescal Canyon Road & Pacific Coast Hwy, October 6 at 3:35 p.m. Suspect entered victim’s vehicle, removed property and fled location.

Temescal Canyon Road & Sunset Blvd, October 6 between 9:45 and 10:30 a.m. Suspect entered victim’s vehicle, removed property and fled location.

17000 Avenida de Santa Ynez, October 7 at 4:15 a.m. Suspect seen on security camera, entered victim’s vehicle by unknown means (no forced entry), removed victim’s property and fled location.

Theft

Will Rogers Beach/Pacific Coast Hwy, September 26 between 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. Victim placed belongings on beach while surfing. Suspect removed victim’s property and fled location.

1000 Swarthmore Avenue, between September 29 at 11:30 a.m. and October 3 at 1:30 a.m. Suspect entered store and removed victim’s property without paying for merchandise.

Burglary

600 Baylor Street, between September 27 at 10:30 p.m. and September 28 at 7 a.m. Victim stated he was sleeping at home when suspect opened his garage door to remove property. Suspect fled location with victim’s property (two motorcycles taken).

1300 Belle Oceana, September 29 at 8:35 p.m. Suspect shattered victim’s rear balcony window. Suspect fled immediately without property once house sitter yelled at them when they shattered window.

14000 Camarosa Drive, October 5 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Suspect shattered side glass door, ransacked location and possibly fled with victim’s property. Unknown if property taken at time of report.

Aggravated Assault

17200 Pacific Coast Hwy, September 29 at 8:30 a.m. Suspect and victim involved in a verbal argument when suspect slashed at victim with a knife, causing a one-inch laceration on the victim. Suspect and victim are both unhoused and have a history with each other.

Pacific Coast Hwy & Channel Road, October 5 at 8:10 a.m. From a distance, suspect displayed a pair of scissors in a threatening manner and shouted, “Get away or I’ll get you, I’m the devil.” Suspect placed on 5150 hold.

Grand Theft Auto

100 Entrada Drive, October 1 between 3:10 and 4:24 p.m. E-bike taken from driveway/garage (e-bike theft reports are taken on CHP 180 vehicle report forms, which is why they come out as GTA).
