From LAPD Senior Lead Officer for Pacific Palisades Brian Espin: As you can see, we only had one crime to report, but that doesn’t mean we can relax and let our guard down.
Please continue to be vigilant and keep your neighbors apprised of any suspicious activity. As you have all heard me say before, we can deter most crimes by being aware of our surroundings and acknowledging the people around us.
Please reach out to me if you and the neighbors would like to start up or organize a neighborhood watch program. I can help with ideas and information to get your neighborhood watch started. The first step is to get your neighbors involved on your block. Then we can organize a meeting and share ideas.
If you were on the Pacific Palisades Community Council meeting [March 9], they had a great presentation about the city’s MyLA311. You can make a service request for numerous complaints from parking issues, street services, sanitation, etc. The community can make all of these requests through their mobile app. Please utilize this resource, as it documents the issue and gives a service number.
