One door is closing but another has opened for Jack Dyett. The Brentwood School football senior and Huntington Palisades resident is headed to Dartmouth in the Ivy League in the fall after four stellar seasons for the Eagles.
The 6-foot-5, 210-lb. receiver was named to the All-Gold Coast League First Team and was Brentwood’s Defensive MVP as a senior with a team-high 49 catches for 625 yards and four touchdowns and making 43 tackles on defense. He played a whole game at quarterback, throwing for two touchdowns in a 37-25 win.
In his 37 varsity games for the Eagles, Dyett had 98 receptions for 1,203 yards and eight touchdowns, along with 112 tackles, five sacks and 16 pass deflections.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining a community where I’ll be able to develop on the field as an athlete, grow in the classroom as a student and learn from the many role models that make Dartmouth such a special place,” Dyett said.
