Online registration has started for the American Youth Soccer Organization fall season in Region 69.
Register online by visiting www.ayso69.org. Most divisions still have space. New players attend the on-site registration to complete the process by turning in their paperwork and being evaluated (if they are 6 or older on July 31, 2015).
On-site new player registration will be held at 3:45 p.m. today in front of Brentwood Science Magnet on Gretna Green in Brentwood (and every Thursday in July at the same time and place, but possibly for wait list). All new players must be pre-registered online prior to on-site activity.
Information and forms can be found at the above website. A parent needs to submit one copy of the player registration form and parent volunteer form at the field along with a copy of the birth certificate or other proof of age and the fee of $285 per child (credit card use online, check, or cash in person).
Players who will be 6 or older by July 31 must also attend for evaluation purposes. Players younger than this need not attend but the parent must attend to submit paperwork – no exceptions.
Region 69, serving Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Topanga, and adjoining neighborhoods, was recently recognized as a Platinum Region for its outstanding program.
All children with birth dates between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 2011, are eligible to play. There is a VIP Program for those children with special needs. Fifty five percent of players in Region 69 are boys.
AYSO is an all-volunteer organization with the mission of developing and delivering a quality youth soccer program where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family environment based on the philosophies of Open Registration, Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development.
