Those who have not yet seen “Run For Your Wife” at Pierson Playhouse have three more chances to do so before its run comes to a close on Sunday, May 7.
Performances of Theatre Palisades’ take on Ray Cooney’s British farce will take place Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, at 8 p.m., as well as Sunday, May 6, at 2 p.m.
“A taxi driver gets away with having two wives in different areas of London because of his irregular working schedule,” according to a synopsis provided by Theatre Palisades. “But after an accident that puts him in the hospital where his contradictory personal information is found, complications pile up rapidly as he tries to keep his life on the same equilibrium as before.”
Christopher Aruffo takes on the role of John, with Jill Tenney as Mary and Wendy Taubin as Barbara. The cast is rounded out by Justin Drew as Stanley Gardner, Randy Oppenheimer as Sgt. Troughton, Adriana Bodner as a newspaper reporter, Richard Conolly as Sgt. Porterhouse and Michael Anthony Nozzi as Bobby.
The show is directed by Sherman Wayne, and produced by Martha Hunter and Laura Goldstein. Tickets are $22 for adults, and $20 for students and seniors.
As Theatre Palisades celebrates its 60th birthday, its season will continue in June with “Bell, Book and Candle,” followed by “The Andrews Brothers” in September and “Towards Zero” in November.
