National Weather Service forecasters are expecting another night of frigid temperatures tonight in L.A.including in Pacific Palisades where temperatures are anticipated to dip below 40 degrees.
Local weather tracker, Craig Weston, is expecting lows of 37 degrees in the Palisades, according to data from his weather station in the Huntington Palisades.
Skies will remain mostly clear with continued cooler than normal temperatures but will gradually begin to warm as the weekend progresses into Saturday, according to the NWS.
High temperatures are expected to reach about 60 degrees by Saturday and 44 degrees into the evening.
NWS forecasters said the warming trend is expected to continue into Monday morning. Temperatures in the Palisades are anticipated to reach a high of 72 during the day Monday with a low of 51 degrees in the evening.
Last night, Jan. 1, temperatures in the Palisades dipped to as low as 35 degrees in the early morning hours, according to the NWS.
