The Malibu Country Mart will offer three outdoor films, one Sunday each month, for its first annual film series. Admission is free.
“The Endless Summer Revisited” plays June 9, “Madagascar” is on July 14 and “The Goonies” will screen August 11. Movies will start at approximately 8:15 p.m., or about 15 minutes after sundown, and will be projected onto a giant outdoor screen at the Mart, located off Pacific Coast Highway at 3835 Cross Creek Rd.
Many of the Malibu Country Mart’s restaurants, including Howdy’s Taqueria, John’s Garden and Malibu Mutt’s Grill, will stay open late to provide guests with a variety of take-away dining options and snacks to enjoy during the movie.
