Thirteen-year-old Oliver Langan once again made El Cerco Place one of the spookiest streets in town this Halloween, with a homemade haunted house that frightened even the bravest Palisadian trick-or-treaters.
Langan’s maze of horror is a labor of love that requires months of planning and plenty of long October afternoons working out in his yard. On the festive night itself, Langan recruits five friends to play the role of “scarer” within the house.
And it’s all for a good cause—donation boxes outside the fright fest collect funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Another Halloween-themed note: Winners of the 2017 Creep Your Crypt contest will be announced in the Nov. 9 edition of the Palisadian-Post.
