On the evening of Thursday, June 5, respected real estate veteran and long-time Palisadian Scott Gibson invited a who’s who of Pacific Palisades to celebrate the launch of Gibson International’s newest location.

The open house showcased the six-year-old firm’s third office to date, a sleek – and “paperless” – 3,500 square-foot space located in the heart of the Palisades Village on the corner of Sunset and Monument.
The office houses 14 agents as well as escrow professionals, all of whom offer the high-touch, boutique approach that has become synonymous with Gibson International.

“This is fantastic,” Gibson said of having an office in his hometown. “It’s been a lifelong dream to have an office in the Palisades.”
It was a dream that was approximately five years in the making. “That’s how long it took to find the right location,” Gibson added.
Finding the “right” agents is equally important to the firm, which has partnered with some of the most elite real estate professionals in the area. Most of the agents who have joined Gibson’s Palisades team so far are Palisades residents themselves with extensive local market expertise.

Take for example the mother-daughter duo of Beverly and Kimberly Gold, two of the leading agents in Southern California. At the grand opening event, native Palisadian Kimberly Gold said of their new space, “This is a home away from home for us.”

Other local agents on board who were enjoying the grand opening celebration included Paul Pekar, Carol Ellis, Melissa Ellis, Carolyn Lyon and Judy Orsini.
Surrounded by his new team, Gibson said, “We’re off to a fantastic start.”
