Currently, the pleasure of seeing a movie in Santa Monica can be a hassle for Pacific Palisades residents as they search for parking spaces and wait in long lines to exit the structures after paying for parking longer than 90 minutes.
One solution is to enjoy free parking at the Malibu Cinemas (Hollywood Theaters) located in the Cross Creek Shopping Center, just off Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
The Malibu Cinemas, which consists of two theaters, has granite counters, marble flooring, leather seats and extra legroom between rows. Each theater offers first-run movies and state-of-the-art Sony 4K digital projection as well as 3D presentation on select titles. On Thursday, half-price tickets are available with valid school identification. Tickets for the matinee show (the first screening of the day) and seniors (65+) are $12.50.
