The Pacific Palisades JNET (Jewish Business Networking) chapter will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening, August 21, at Kehillat Israel on Sunset.
Following a half hour of networking at 6:30 p.m., the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. with introductions by each member. Two members then each spend 10 minutes giving a presentation to the group.
This month’s speakers will be:
• Westwood resident Linda Freeman, an entrepreneur and business builder (and owner of Lightning Leadership), will discuss “Vision/ Action/ Results: Doing Business Backwards From the Future.” She is also membership chair of the JNET Palisades chapter.
• Santa Monica resident Sarah Nehamen (co-founder of 100eight Branding and Web Services for Brilliant Small Businesses, which helps small to midsize companies thrive on and offline) will talk about “Hot or Not: Branding and Web Design Hits and Faux Pas.”
JNET members don’t have to be affiliated with a temple, and guests can attend a meeting for free before they join for the $85 membership fee. “Once you’re a member of JNET, you are considered a member at any chapter of the organization,” said president Anthony Marguleas.
