The construction project at 15239 La Cruz Drive where the Blue Cross Pet Hospital used to stand is set to be completed this fall, and Seven Arrows Elementary School has signed on as the sole tenant.
The school will be using the facilities purely for educational support. It is not expanding its classroom facilities, located across the street, and there will be no students at the new location, said Steve Henning, one of the school’s board members.
Seven Arrows, a K-6 private school, has been in the community since 1999. Due to tight space on its campus, the school had previously leased the former Pet Hospital building.
As Seven Arrows has no plans for expansion, “this building is just going to serve to alleviate our space constraints, allowing us to better serve our existing students and faculty,” Henning said.
Elliot Zorensky, co-president of building developer UDO Real Estate, said he couldn’t be more pleased with the choice of tenants.
“We think they will be great addition for the community and look to a long relationship,” he said.
