Police are investigating a reported “sex party” involving teenage boys and older women that took place on a house under development on De Pauw Street on the afternoon of Saturday, May 1.
Police have been told that around five boys, aged between 14 and 15, and two young women were spotted engaging in “sexual activities” on an open construction property owned by Reza Akef, a member of the Pacific Palisades Community Council.
The age of the boys has been estimated because one of them left a wallet behind, which Akef will be handing as evidence to Michael Moore, LAPD senior lead officer for Pacific Palisades. The women, who reportedly arrived in a silver Mercedes sedan, are estimated to be around 20 years old. When a worker on the site approached, the boys fled down to Potrero Canyon. The young women apologized for trespassing before leaving in their car.
Another incident occurred at the same property on April 20, where teenage boys and girls were seen smoking marijuana on the deck facing Potrero Canyon. There was damage, including plywood ripped from a windowsill. They also fled the scene. It is not known whether these teens were also involved in the most recent incident.
Akef said he wants to erect a fence around the site to keep children out, but cannot do that until city planners grant a development permit. If you have any information that can help identify the suspects involved, contact Officer Moore.
