On July 2 at 7:30 p.m. Palisadian composer/pianist Dwight Stone will be giving a concert at the Palisades Lutheran Church with Barry Fasman and Bobby Shulgold and Ava Dupree, music director at the church.
Stone has a unique style of composition, having followed his own muse from an early age. His training (M.A. in Composition) served to enhance his intrinsic original approach to sound. He has performed extensively in the Bay Area of California. While living in Austria and conducting the Grafendorfer Singkreis, a community chorus south of Vienna, Stone produced a CD of original trumpet and piano compositions and performed in many venues in the surrounding area including the castles in Hartberg and Murau.

Shulgold is an active professional studio flute player. He will be performing with Stone on duets for flute and piano, including his latest composition, New Amsterdam.
Stone and Fasman performed on New Year’s Eve 2013, at the Aldersgate mansion to great acclaim, an event which they repeat this year as well.
The public is invited to come experience this new flavor of music. Donations accepted.
