A 6-foot-3 sophomore setter and opposite hitter on the UCLA men’s volleyball team, Miles tallied match highs in assists (41), digs (nine) and blocks (three) in a five-set loss to Long Beach State in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament at Pauley Pavilion. A three-time City champion at Palisades High, he led the Bruins in sets played (102), assists (1,041) and digs (163) this season, was named MPSF Player of th Year and was a finalist for the Lloy Ball Award as the nation’s top setter.
