USC backup quarterback Miller Moss, who grew up in Pacific Palisades, completed six of seven passes for 81 yards and rushed for 10 yards in the Trojans’s 66-14 season-opening victory over Rice last Saturday at the LA Coliseum.
Moss, a freshman, engineered USC’s last scoring drive, a five-play, 71-yard march in the fourth quarter.
