Ready Your LA Neighborhood | Pacific Palisades
Councilmember Mike Bonin shared information via email about the Ready Your LA Neighborhood program, which was launched by the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department.
The program “empowers and provides resources for neighbors to help organize and properly prepare for emergencies such as wildfires and earthquakes,” Bonin wrote.
Ready Your LA Neighborhood is designed to engage neighbors with emergency preparedness resources and materials that can be used to develop a plan of action in case of an emergency.
Due to the pandemic, the program is offering a “do-it-yourself” version of the program as well as a virtual workshop option for neighborhood groups to participate and get tools needed to prepare their community.
