Cinque Terre WEST Fall Menu | The Village
Cinque Terre WEST Osteria, located on Monument Street, has launched its fall menu, complete with autumn squash, sunchokes, black truffles and more.
Items include a Zuppa di zucca e porri—butternut squash soup with pepita and leeks—and Polpo Stufato, an octopus stew with potatoes and olives, served in a roasted squash.
On the Primi portion of the menu is Agnolotti di Zucca—squash ravioli with butter, sage, ginger and amaretto crumble. Served as a side is Patate Tartufate, truffle potatoes with parmigiano and black truffle sauce.

Carbon38 Invites Community to ‘Shop Pink,’ ‘Save Lives’ | Palisades Village
Women’s activewear store Carbon38, located at 15273 Palisades Village Lane, announced it will support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
“Our goal at Carbon38 is to empower women through exceptional, functionally driven fashion,” according to its website. “This month, in support of our community, we’re partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to raise funds for lifesaving research and awareness programs.”
Carbon38 CEO and Co-Founder Katie Warner Johnson said the brand is “honored” to partner with BCRF for the month of October.
“With your purchase from our Shop Pink collection this month,” Warner Johnson said, “you are contributing to BCRF’s research efforts that are dedicated to ending breast cancer by way of advancing the world’s most promising research.”
The store will be donating $10 for every purchase through October 30. Shop in-store to participate.

Refillery LA Visit | Pacific Palisades
The Refillery LA truck will be present at the Temescal Canyon Road farmers market on Thursday, October 21, between 3 and 5 p.m. The truck is a “mobile refill station offering eco-friendly soaps, detergents, personal care products and more,” according its website.
Those who wish to visit the truck can either bring their own container or purchase one at the mobile refill station. Refills are sold by the ounce.
The market is located about one-half of a mile up Temescal from Pacific Coast Highway and about one-third of a mile south of Bowdoin Street on the east side of the road.

Mick Ebeling to Speak at Pluralistic School One | Santa Monica
Founder of Not Impossible Labs, a multiple award-winning social innovation lab and production company, Mick Ebeling will speak as a part of Pluralistic School One Speaker Series on Wednesday, October 27, at 6 p.m.
“With his mantra of ‘commit, then figure it out,’ Ebeling founded Not Impossible … on the premise that nothing is impossible,” according to a press release. “Recently named by Fortune Magazine as one of the Top 50 World’s Greatest Leaders, a recipient of the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian of the Year Award and listed as one of the world’s most influential creative people by The Creativity 50’s, Mick Ebeling has sparked a movement of pragmatic, inspirational innovation.”
The event is free and open to the public, and will take place at PS1, located at 1225 Broadway in Santa Monica.
In-person attendees will receive a copy of Ebeling’s book, “Not Impossible, The Art and Joy of Doing What Couldn’t Be Done.” Individuals can also tune into a live broadcast. RSVP is required for either in-person or remote attendance at psone.org.
