Army-Navy Football Game | The Village
American Legion Ronald Reagan – Palisades Post 283 will host a viewing party of the Army-Navy football game on December 10 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at 15247 La Cruz Drive.
“All who want to watch this American football tradition are welcome,” an event organizer shared ahead of the game. “It’s also a good chance to take a look at the newly refurbished Legion building.”

Holiday Stroll | Palisades Village
Community members are invited to “shop, stroll and be merry” at the Palisades Village Holiday Stroll 2022, which will take place December 9 and 10.
“Ring in the holiday season with live music, family fun, a holiday marketplace and a visit from Santa,” according to the Palisades Village website. The Holiday Stroll will take place between 5 and 8 p.m. on December 9 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 10.
“In celebration of the holiday season, Palisades Village will host its annual Holiday Stroll, a festive gathering that transforms the entire village into a memory-making wonderland,” the website continued. “Enjoy a variety of holiday activities, strolling entertainment, traditional crafts and a European-style holiday market.”

Christmas Radio Show | Pacific Palisades
Theatre Palisades Actors’ Troupe will present its ninth annual Christmas Radio Show, “Miracle on 34th Street,” on Wednesday, December 14, at Pierson Playhouse.
Holiday refreshments will be served in the lobby beginning at 7 p.m., with the one-hour show slated to start at 7:30 p.m.
The evening was billed as “fun for the entire family,” with free admission—though donations of canned goods will be accepted for Westside Food Bank. No reservations are required. Theatergoers are asked to wear masks inside.

Solo Show | Alphabet Streets
The work of Alphabet Streets resident Peter Carr is now on display in his first solo show, which runs through January 3, 2023, at Cadfab Creative + Art Luxe Los Angeles, located at 6023 Washington Boulevard in Culver City.
A reception will take place on December 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. The show includes new works by Carr crafted over the past three years.
“After a successful 28-year career in commercial real estate representing major corporations, Peter retired at the end of 2017 to pursue his life-long passion for making art,” according to a press release. “Since becoming an artist full-time, he has been featured in several group shows at Bergamot Station, and he recently showcased an outdoor art installation at Desert Hearts Festival, a five-day music festival in Riverside County.”
A full profile of Carr and his work will appear in next week’s edition of the Palisadian-Post, which will publish December 15.
