Vintage Grocers Acknowledges Woolsey Fire Responders |Palisades Village
In light of the Woolsey fire that devastated Malibu and surrounding areas, Vintage Grocers is expressing thanks to first responders of the fire by offering free Thanksgiving turkeys on Thursday, Nov. 22, pick up from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (while supplies last).
“To order the fully-cooked, Diestel Farms turkey, or raw natural turkey, neighbors are encouraged to stop by the store or email thanksgiving@vintagegrocers.com. Simply show a fire/police/sheriff’s ID or driver’s license, and the turkey is on them,” said a publicity spokesperson for Vintage Grocers.

Getty Villa Closed Through Thanksgiving Day | MALIBU
Due to the Woolsey fire in Malibu, the Getty Villa will be closed at least until Nov. 23. Though the structure has not been harmed in the fire, its closure is due to some areas in Malibu still being under evacuation orders, including a section of PCH.
“The Getty Villa and the Getty Center both remain safe and sound, and we always have extensive fire prevention efforts in place,” a Getty spokesperson said on the website. They will continue to provide further updates via their site and social media channels.

Waldorf School Open House | Lower Las Casas
The Westside Waldorf School will have an open house on Saturday, Dec. 1. Visitors are invited to experience a “Main Lesson and meet the teachers who make it all happen.”
The open house will “explain key components of Waldorf Education and demonstrate how the whole child is engaged in their process of discovery and learning.”
