1 p.m. UPDATE: Police officials confirmed today that the burglary arrest occurred near a neighbor’s property, which is located close to the singer’s expansive Rivas Canyon mansion. Earlier reports of the arrest having occurred near the singer’s home were exaggerated. The famous pop singer is currently in Hawaii with her boyfriend Chris Brown to celebrate her 25th birthday. The man was taken into custody at 9 p.m. in the 900 block of Rivas Canyon.
