Thanks to a grant by LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, most schools in the District 3 region can now host the Pacific Palisades-based In One Instant Teen Safe Driving Program on their campuses free of charge.
The organization’s president, Palisadian Gail Schenbaum Lawton, co-founded the program after recognizing a lack of teen education focused on alcohol and distracted-driving related car accidents in the Palisades.
Now the program, which has won awards for its emotional presentations on the impact of preventable crashes, will reach even more local teens.
