Chabad of Pacific Palisades moved a mobile Passover float throughout town this year between March 27 and April 4.
Longtime Palisadian Thomas Michel, who has 35 years of experience in the industry and is managing director of Michel Financial Group in West Los Angeles, has been elected president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisory.
“Over the years, Michel has been a leader of the advocacy efforts of NAIFA as he has met with over 100 different legislators throughout the country and in Washington, D.C.,” according to a statement. “He has worked with leaders of both parties of Capitol Hill and has been an instrumental contact in meeting and presenting issues to the House Ways and Means Committee and House Financial Services committee.”
He has lived in the Palisades Highlands for more than 20 years with his wife, Kim, and their two boys, T.J. and Marcus.
The Palisades Ambassadors hosted a Sanitation Drive to support the Hollywood Homeless Coalition between March 22 and 25. The group accepted unused/unopened packages of hand sanitizer, toilet paper, wipes, feminine products, gloves and masks, as well as canned or boxed food, in a bin placed outside of Palisades Charter High School.
